Where to begin? As a singer/songwriter late to the party with livestreaming music online, I found Volume.com to be supportive of learning how to stream. They helped me with the basics – and I’m talking BASICS. Through their Artist Support team, I was given tech advice in terms of what hardware to use (I use a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, a Shure SM7B for vocals, and an Audio-Technica 4033A for instruments), along with how to create an online profile, set up OBS so I could easily hit a single button and begin livestreaming from anywhere that had high-speed internet!

Lastly, for those artists who book themselves independently (like myself), I now use my Volume.com artist profile as EPK (electronic press kit), as the profile has my bio, links to press & live music, multiple Videos on Demand, press shots, and other interactive information displayed in an eye-catching way that venues love.
